Concerns are skin concerns like acne, fine lines, or hyperpigmentation. You tag your treatments and retail products with the concerns they address, and clients use those concerns to browse your app, tapping “acne” to see every treatment and product that helps.

Where concerns come from

Concerns are a platform-defined list. Zovi maintains the master set of skin concerns (each one bilingual, in English and German), and every clinic draws from the same list.
You can’t create custom concerns. The list is fixed by the platform so that browsing works consistently across the app. What you control is which concerns you tag your treatments and retail products with.

Concerns switch themselves on

There is nowhere in the dashboard to turn a concern on or off. A concern appears in your client app as soon as at least one live treatment or retail product is tagged with it, and it disappears again when nothing is tagged with it. That makes tagging the whole job. The only concern controls you’ll find are:
  • The Concerns multi-select inside the treatment editor and the retail product editor, where you do the tagging.
  • The concern filter on the Treatments list, which helps you find your own items.

Assign concerns to treatments and products

Every concern on the platform list is available to select. Attach concerns where they matter:
  • On a treatment, in the Concerns field on the Basics tab. See Treatments.
  • On a retail product, in the Concerns field. See Retail products.
Both use the same concern picker, with search, select-all, and clear, and show your choices as chips.

How clients use concerns

Concerns power discovery in two places in the client app:
  1. Browse by concern: clients pick a concern and see every matching treatment and product.
  2. List filters: concerns act as filters on your catalogue, so clients can narrow long lists down to what’s relevant to them.
Tag every treatment and product with the concerns it genuinely addresses. Thorough, accurate tagging is what makes browsing feel personalised. Untagged items simply won’t surface when clients explore by concern.
